Design Miami Does New York

I was excited to find out from Interior Design that Design Miami will be creating an off shoot exhibit with 11 New York galleries this month - March 25 - 27. The exhibit will showcase edgy design, and is intended to run as a design component to the established Armory Show, March 27 - 30.

Interior Design reports:

Subjects will range from innovation in contemporary design to the relationship between design and socio-political movements of the 20th century. Attendees will get an exclusive look at work by the likes of George Nakashima, Serge Mouille, Poul Kjaerholm, Charlotte Perriand, and Jean Prouvé.

Another brilliant collaboration on Design Miami's part that I hope to catch!
